Bioidentical Hormone Pellet Therapy
Address the Root Cause of Your Health Problems
Fatigue, brain fog, weight gain, poor sleep, joint pain, muscle aches, and mood changes are common symptoms often dismissed by healthcare providers as the normal aging process. These symptoms of aging and others are often associated with imbalanced hormones. Many prescription medications are used as a band-aid on symptoms but fail to address the actual root cause. Optimizing hormones may help uncover and address the root cause of some medical issues and symptoms experienced with aging.
Dr. Béla S. Kenessey, MD in Danville, CA is an expert in bioidentical hormone pellet therapy. He understands optimal hormone levels are critical to healthy aging and may also play a role in disease prevention.

Hormones slowly decline as we age and are further disrupted by stress, toxins, medications, illness, and disease, to name a few. What Is Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)?
HRT uses hormones to balance levels of testosterone, estrogen, progesterone, and thyroid. However, not all forms of hormone replacement therapy are created equally. Some creams, patches, or injections may be synthetic or even harmful, resulting in all hormones being labeled “bad” or “dangerous.” Often, these inconvenient delivery methods provide inconsistent absorption and suboptimal levels, making symptom relief difficult to achieve.
What Is Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT)?
BHRT helps restore low or unbalanced hormone levels using safe, natural bioidentical hormones that are plant-based and biologically identical to hormones produced and already present in the human body. Bioidentical hormones contain none of the unsafe and harmful compounds you may have heard about or been warned about by your doctor. Bioidentical hormones are a safe and effective form of hormones.
When using hormones in any form, only bioidentical hormones should be used, never synthetic hormones that may be harmful.
How Is BHRT with Pellets Different than Other Forms of Hormone Replacement?
Pellets provide a slow, steady release of bioidentical hormones based on cardiac output and specific needs delivering more consistent levels compared to other forms of hormones. They are implanted under the skin 3-4 times a year and are slowly and completely absorbed and metabolized by the body over time. Pellets will need to be replaced every 3-6 months as symptoms return. Pellet doses are customized to each patient and their individual needs.
